ADA Forsyth in the Community
Since our founding in 1910 we have stayed true to our mission to improve oral health in our community. Forsyth makes positive impacts in the Greater Boston Area through a number of community programs. Whether it’s in children’s smiles, older adults’ restored smiles, or high school student’s aspirations for STEM careers, the Forsyth impact goes a long way.
ForsythKids
As our legacy program, ForsythKids has served hundreds of thousands of children in need throughout our history. Today, we treat children where they live and learn by visiting 70 sites throughout Eastern Massachusetts to provide free oral health and education. To meet the growing challenges our patients face, we are developing innovative tools that explore the links between oral health, overall wellness, and academic performance.
ForsythCares
The ForsythCares pilot program aims to break down the barriers older adults face in accessing dental care. ForsythCares provides transformative dental care to low-income older adults who are more likely to suffer from gum disease and related systemic conditions.
Forsyth Student Scholars
The Forsyth Student Scholars Summer Internship Program acts as a springboard to launch high school students from underserved communities into STEM career paths. For 30 years, the program has provided invaluable research experience in the sciences to students from underrepresented groups.
