I joined The Forsyth Institute in March 2012, coming back to bench science and my earlier roots in bacterial genetics after raising 2 sons, teaching chemistry and music. As a member of the Mark Welch lab, I isolate and grow a multitude of bacteria which make up the fascinating and complex world of the oral microbiome.
