Former Vice President of Global Oral Care, Colgate-Palmolive Company
Dr. Anthony R. Volpe, now retired, was a Vice-President, Global Oral Care, for the Colgate- Palmolive Company.
Previously on the staff of several dental schools, Tony has lectured in the fields of pharmacology, periodontal disease and preventive dentistry. He is a leading expert in the fields of Clinical Dental Research and Global Dental Caries and has published over 200 scientific papers in major national and international journals. In addition, Tony has practiced dentistry privately and is a former staff member at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
He has been a past president of the American Dental Association’s Foundation and currently serves on other Boards, such as the Foundation of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped.
