Subbroto Saha, PhD is a Staff Scientist at ADA Forsyth Institute since July 2024. Previously, he served as Junior Faculty (Non-Tenure) at the University of Maryland Baltimore (2023–2024), a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of California, Davis / Shriners Hospitals for Children-Northern California (2020–2023), and held research positions at Johns Hopkins University (2020) and Konkuk University (2017-2019). He earned his Ph.D. in Animal Biotechnology (Molecular Oncology) from Konkuk University, South Korea, in 2017 under Prof. Ssang-Goo Cho. Prior to that, he completed his MS (2011) and BS (2009) in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering at Islamic University, Bangladesh.
His research focuses on the role of morphogenetic Wnt signaling and epigenetic regulators in birth defects, organogenesis, and tissue-specific stem cells. He utilizes genetically modified mutant mice as a model system, integrating molecular, cellular, embryological, single-cell genomic, and proteomic approaches. Additionally, he has made significant contributions to molecular oncology, particularly in understanding its key signaling pathways.
Dr. Saha has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and has extensive research experience across multiple institutions. His multidisciplinary expertise and commitment to scientific advancement continue to drive impactful contributions to biomedical research.
