Dr. Yong Ding is a board-certified orthodontist and the owner of Align Orthodontics, with offices in Quincy, Fenway and Lexington, Massachusetts. She holds a D.M.D. with high honors, a Ph.D. in Oral Biology, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) in Orthodontics from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
With over a decade of clinical and academic experience, Dr. Ding has practiced in both private and faculty settings. She is a Fellow of the Charles Tweed Foundation and also an instructor to teach at Tweed Study Course. Dr Ding is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
Her Ph.D. research focused on the activation of mononuclear phagocytes in diabetes mellitus, and her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including The Journal of Immunology, Journal of Leukocyte Biology, and Bone.
