The first episode features Dr. Batbileg Bor, who started at ADA Forsyth as a postdoctoral researcher and is now an Associate Member of Staff.
The Bor Lab focuses on “defining the mechanisms and significance of interbacterial interactions in the human oral cavity.” Dr. Bor shares insights into his lab’s work investigating Saccharibacteria—a largely unstudied group of bacteria living in the oral microbiome—and its potential role in the fight against periodontal disease.
