Do you need a dental implant? If so, you may be eligible for a dental implant study.
What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root placed into your jaw to replace a tooth that cannot be restored (e.g. deep cavity, broken, etc.).
Who should consider a dental implant?
Dental implants are an ideal option for people in good general and oral health whose teeth cannot be restored with routine dental treatments (e.g. fillings or crowns)
What is the purpose of this study?
The purpose of this study is to test an investigational dental implant that requires no drilling and is customized to fit the shape of your tooth socket and placed within 1-2 weeks after removal of the tooth. You will receive the restoration (cap) of the implant within 3 months.
What is involved in participating?
The study has four stages: 1) screening visit, 2) tooth extraction visit followed by a visit where the dental implant is placed with a temporary cap about one week later, 3) a visit where a final cap is delivered and 4) follow-up visits.
