Graduate Scholar, Kantarci Lab/ Immunology and Infectious Disease
Katalina is a dental student and an honors scholar at the University of Leuven in Belgium, where she has been conducting research alongside her dental studies. Currently, she is a visiting research scholar at Forsyth, where she plans to stay for a year. In Belgium, her research has primarily focused on periodontology and oral microbiology. During her time in Boston, under the guidance of Dr. Kantarci, she will shift her focus towards immunology, actively contributing to various projects, including those related to Alzheimer’s disease and memory T-cells.
