Introducing dentech-Asia Panel 2: Navigating the US Dental Innovation Ecosystem
The ADA Forsyth Institute’s first international oral health summit, dentech-Asia, will offer in-depth discussion from key members of the U.S. dental investment and innovation ecosystem.
The conference’s second panel discussion offers a roadmap to scale up ventures in oral health by tapping into the lucrative U.S. market.
Influential speakers will address each key barrier to unique dental markets in the U.S. and Asia. Each expert will cover a major element of market penetration and strategies to overcome barriers, including:
- Intellectual property: Protecting your intellectual property — and precluding infringement on others’ — is paramount. Michael Wise, a legal expert from the firm Perkins Coie will participate in this panel to explain this topic.
- Launching in the U.S.: Corporations in the U.S. must be properly registered and operated. Bin Li, a top corporate lawyer with a track record of helping Asian companies launch in the U.S., lends his expertise.
- Manufacturing: Rainer Seemann, Chief Clinical Officer at Dentsply Sirona, the world’s largest diversified manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, will lend his wisdom related to global manufacturing and business strategies.
- Distribution: Chris Reedy, Chief Strategy and Development Officer at Patterson Companies, will share the invaluable perspective of one of the largest dental distributors in the U.S.
- FDA Clearance: ADA Forsyth is an FDA-assigned authority on oral health. ADA Forsyth CEO Dr. Wenyuan Shi will answer questions on navigating the FDA process.
- Clinical Adoption: As the most powerful and trusted authority in dental standards and guidelines, the ADA has immense influence on clinical adoption of new products. Norman Kwong, CEO of ADA Corporate Ventures, joins the panel to discuss innovative business collaboration.
