Cambridge, Mass. – The Forsyth Institute announced today that internationally acclaimed dental epidemiologist Dr. Bruce A. Dye will be the keynote speaker for Forsyth dentech 2022, the leading oral health technology innovation conference.
Dr. Bruce A. Dye, DDS, MPH is the Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation Chair in Oral Health Equity, and Professor and Chair of the Department of Community Dentistry and Population Health at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Most recently he was the Project Co-Director and Scientific Editor for Oral Health in America: Advances and Challenges, the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) first comprehensive oral health report in 20 years.
“We are honored to have Dr. Dye as our keynote speaker. As a Project Co-Director and Scientific Editor of the NIH Report on the state of oral health in America, he brings a unique perspective on the role that technology and innovation can play in improving public oral health in US and around the world,” said Dr. Wenyuan Shi, Forsyth’s CEO.

Forsyth also revealed an impressive lineup of thought leaders from research, industry, and venture capital will participate in the Forsyth dentech 2022 CEO Panel. The panel, moderated by Forsyth’s CEO, Dr. Wenyuan Shi, currently includes Dr. William Giannobile, Dean of Harvard School of Dental Medicine; Mariya Filipova, Chief Innovation Officer of CareQuest Innovation Partners; Michael Greeley, Cofounder and General Partner at Flare Capital Partners; and Dr. Maria Ryan, Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer at Colgate-Palmolive. Additional top executives of dental and medical companies will be added to this panel in the coming days.
Panelists will cover key topics related to the dental innovation ecosystem from discovery through product development, healthcare application, and dental/medical integration.
