Research on effect of mothers’ stress levels on baby teeth featured in Newsweek

Infants born to mothers with higher levels of cortisol, a stress hormone, tended to develop their first teeth earlier, researchers from the University of Rochester, in collaboration with ADA Forsyth Institute Professor Felicitas Bidlack, Ph.D., found in a new study published in Frontiers in Oral Health.

Their findings were featured in a Newsweek article published Nov. 18.
