Carline Durocher

Corporate Secretary, General Counsel and Vice President of Technology Development

Carline is an accomplished strategic legal and business professional with more than 20 years of experience advising the leadership of innovative companies across multiple industries. At Forsyth, she is the executive responsible for Forsyth’s legal and compliance functions, including general corporate transactions, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management. As the Vice President of Technology Development, Carline  is responsible for developing Forsyth’s intellectual property, commercialization and innovation strategies advancing the Institute’s objectives and priorities. In this capacity, she cultivates relationships with a broad network of stakeholders and develops innovation initiatives  like Forsyth dentech that build Forsyth’s oral health innovation ecosystem.

Prior to her eight years in IP intensive research institutions, Carline spent eight years in private law practice working on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions with deal sizes ranging from $2M to $2.2B. Prior to her legal career, Carline was a technology research analyst at AMR Research, which was acquired by Gartner. She advised senior executives on their technology initiatives across multiple industries, including energy and regulated industries, automotive and aerospace and defense. Carline also published reports on enterprise performance management, asset performance management, IT portfolio management and outsourcing strategies.

Carline received an A.B. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from Boston College Law School. She also completed the General Management Program (GMP) at Harvard Business School Executive Education and serves as a Vice President of the HBS Global Alumni Board.
