After five consecutive years of convening the oral health ecosystem in the Boston area, the ADA Forsyth Institute sets its sights on Asia.
Dentech-Asia, taking place May 11-12, 2026, in Seoul, South Korea, will convene Asia-based innovators, investors, and industry and academic figures in oral health. The conference will be presented in collaboration with Seoul National University, following in the footsteps of dentech 2025 and a successful ongoing collaboration between the two institutions. Most recently, the establishment of the SNU-AFI Joint Research Center was celebrated at the latest SNU-AFI joint symposium in November 2025.
“We are so excited to visit our many partners in Asia for dentech-Asia,” said ADA Forsyth CEO Wenyuan Shi, Ph.D. “The Asia-Pacific region is a hotbed for innovation in oral health, biomedical research, and integration between dentistry and medicine. We look forward to pushing oral health forward as we break new ground.”
Dentech-Asia will gather participating companies and executives based throughout Asia, including South Korea, China, Singapore, and Japan. The event will include panel discussions featuring experts on oral health innovation, investment, and education. Ample networking opportunities will cultivate new collaborative relationships that could shape the future of oral health innovation and patient care in Asia and internationally.
“Past dentech conferences have sparked engaging conversations about revolutionizing patient care, and we want to continue the momentum with dentech-Asia,” said ADA Forsyth Chief Scientific Officer/Chief Operating Officer Ben Wu, D.D.S., Ph.D. “This event allows us to learn more about some of the most innovative approaches in oral health.”
ADA Forsyth and Seoul National University are longtime partners, collaborating in joint symposia and other events over the past five years.
ADA Forsyth dentech started in 2021, with a focus on convening all corners of the oral health ecosystem, including industry, academia, dental trade organizations, and investors. By 2025, dentech has become one of the most influential events in the oral health industry, connecting innovative startups with capital and hosting talks on medical-dental integration, investment strategy, and much more.
